SM Review

Santa Monica Review is a nationally-distributed West Coast literary arts journal featuring contemporary fiction and nonfiction.  In nearly thirty years of publication, the magazine — sponsored by Santa Monica College and published twice yearly — has included work by established and emerging writers, with short stories and essays from SMR  chosen for the Best American Short Stories, Pushcart Prize and PEN/O/Henry anthologies.  Founded by poet, novelist and short story writer Jim Krusoe (Parsifal, Blood Lake, Girl Factory) the magazine has since 1999 been edited by Andrew Tonkovich with plenty of help from reader and frequent contributor Dawna Kemper.
